The Dr. Betty ShabazzDelta Academy, a national sorority initiative, is a free program for middle school girls to help them succeed in the areas of math, science, and technology. Research reveals that during the middle school years, many girls will lose interest in math and science. This program is designed to show participants that math, science, and technology can be interestingly fun. The goal is to encourage the young ladies to pursue higher education and ultimately attain non-traditional careers as women.

To assist girls in setting and planning proper goals for their futures in high school and beyond; 4. To create compassionate, caring, and community minded young women by active involvement in community service opportunities.
